You won't get the new business class, unless you fly out of Adelaide I think. It's not going to be rolled out on the A380s at all in the same form as the A350 as there's not enough room on the upper deck, so it will be reworked.

I favour QR over EK in service, food and seat. You won't get the new Q-suite but the A380 product is still very much a quality product with a better feeling of personal space than EK's J product. Personally, i'd opt for QR :)

On J classic award flights the cash component is significantly lower on CX than on QF, QR or EK. Availability is also usually good.

I agree with GregXL. CX is great for points, cash component and availability and a good product. Both the First and Business Lounges in Hong Kong are great.

I personally prefer the QR A380 over EK. Crew attentive, friendly and helpful. I also like the bar/lounge on the QR aircraft over the EK version. Both are good.
