In general, Asia Miles is the better option than EK skyward.
Alternatively, you can consider transferring the MRG to SPG then to Marriott and redeem their travel package. With current AA promo you can get 150k AA miles plus 7 nights hotel certificate for only 180k MRG, which can only get you 120k Asia Miles.
