Can someone please give me the low down for points laundering via SPG.

Objective: To accrue BA Avios at the best possible rate on an AU-based credit card programme.

Challenge: Not to use Diners Club or to a lesser extent Amex.

I'd really appreciate a step by step guide, if possible.

Ignoring your challenge for a moment, the best option as far as I know is Amex Explorer - 2 Amex MR Gateway pts/$, 2:1 SPG conversion ratio, effective 1 SPG pt/$.

TRB: Your post has been edited to remove inappropriate language in line with AusBT's published and long-standing comment policy. Please be reminded that although the particular word you used wasn't high up on the 'hit list', we keep the site G-rated which makes it undesirable here.

Multiple SPG accounts under different family member. Buy points during sale such as now. Combine them then move to Avios.

One I could think of.

So that's an outright purchase of SPG Point? I'm looking more at credit card accruals as part of daily operating expenses. Thinking of transitioning away from the Westpac Krisfler Amex/Visa.
