Travelling on CX170 Perth to Hong Kong in a family group of 8 in Business Class on Wednesday.
Two of the group are in wheel chairs and to save any hassles we want to be at the Airport nice and early .
I see the check in is available 3 hrs before but read somewhere where the QF Club lounge that CX pax use is available 1.5 hrs before.
Is that correct and if so is there any way we can avail ourselves of it a bit sooner.? Not sure how strict QF are but would like to try and be a little early to avoid rushing my elderly sister and her husband. Thanks.
Should not have an issue. I recently travelled with a passenger out of Perth requiring a wheelchair and at the check-in counter they organised everything for us. The QF lounge was aware of our arrival and reserved some accessible seats. They then also boarded prior to the rest of the flight by taking us down an elevator onto the arrivals floor and then onto the jetway. As you will recall there are a series of steps as you get on the jetway, so you do need to be escorted to use the elevator. Regarding the lounge opening time, there is an almost zero chance the Qantas lounge will refuse entry. I've managed to bring fellow travellers on CX170 but in economy into the lounge before. They're pretty easy going and helpful there. Hope this helps.

The QF website shows the lounge hours as 04:30 to 02:00. If it is open all night as stated by jrfsp, the 3h prior to CX170 are covered either way.
