How come Virgin Australia isn't displaying any information about its new baggage allowance and fare types on its website? I find this a bit strange but it definitely isn't the first time it has happened in aviation history.

As far as i know the new baggage allowance and fair types doesn't take effect until after the 13th / and the change over the sabre.
