Keen to see if the group knows how quickly Qantas awards status credits. Travelling to Europe in J on a QF flight (operated by Emirates). Just short of Platinum QFF status and interested to see if I might be awarded the SC points upon departure from AU...that way I can go join my partner in the First Class lounge in Dubai then I arrive. I suspect if will take a few days but thought I would ask the group. Thanks in advance.
With Emirates, tier miles (status credits) are allocated once you have reached your final outbound and inbound destinations. They are always there within 24 hours of arrival. I suspect it may be the same for Qantas
Just had a flight on QF going AKL/SYD, 3 hour flight and the points/SCs were already credited when I landed.. normally its about a day but sometimes it's lightning fast!

My last three QF-coded EK flights have all credited two days later.
Does your partner already have access? In which case they may be able to guest you in.

QF are pretty good, but Jetstar take forever, I find that credits from Cathay arrive much faster.
