Has anyone flown the "new" Economy X on VA to LA? How would you rate the seat pitch compared to the normal economy seat? Also, are the toilets at the front of the cabin or are they reserved for PEY? Appreciate any feedback! Thank you
I flew on VA1 (777) from SYD to LAX in Economy X last year. And have reserved the same seats again this year. The pitch and leg room are better than Economy. I'm 6 foot tall and I had sufficient leg room. The difference in Pitch wasn't huge, but combined with the extra leg room - it was well worth the extra $$,
The toilets are just up the front of the Economy X section - so about 3-4 seats away.
Flew Economy X to LAX about a month ago, was pleasantly surprised at the difference the few extra inches made. Recline was no different, felt less claustrophobic when the pax in front reclines and you can get in an out easily. The little extras like the headphones also help. All in, certainly felt it was worth the extra.
Does anyone know what the seat pitch is in economy x on the 777? An article on this site said 3 extra inches, which would make it 35 inches, and a bit more than the comment by btaus would suggest.

Virgin Economy X/AA Main Cabin Extra/United EconomyPlus/Delta Comfort+ = JAL/ANA Economy, that's it, remember that.
