You just enter your QFF number in when prompted at booking/after booking via manage my booking. ^ +1...

I think Barrie Taylor wants to book CX or BA business return to London using QFF points - not earn points.
To redeem QFF points, I understand you have to do it through QANTAS - either online or on the phone. I'd suggest that if you pop in Melbourne - London it would give you primarily flights to London on QF metal. I'd suggest you'd have to try contacting QANTAS again and hope to get different operator. However it is possible that CX and BA haven't released business class award fares for the travel days you want.

Best way to find availability is to call the Qantas Frequent Flyer redemption hotline, it might cost you a few more points - but you will find a lot more availability.
Also, the higher your status - the more seats will be available to you.
If you are a little flexibile in dates, there are always seats.

I noticed something strange, related to this topic.
Suppose you're redeeming return business flights for a 4500 mile trip. On Qantas' "Qantas Classic Award table (worldwide)", this would cost you 120,000 points.
If booking on another oneworld carrier such as CX, referring to the "oneworld Classic Award table", this would cost you 110,000 points. This seems like a bit of an anomaly, don't you think? If this is true I'd certainly want to redeem to trip proposed above with CX and not with QF!

Hi, I contacted Qantas phone bookings , no biz class seats on QF or other partner A/lines. Same old storey , although I know from past experience you can book thru qantas and hook onto Partner airlines and book directly with partner A/lines with points. Anyone know how to do ?????
