Hi, I am travelling SYD-BNE next month in Y and plan on using some of my lounge passes I have accrued. It will be myself, wife and 6 month old son. Does anyone know if I can just use 2 passes and bring my son in for free or will I have to use 3 passes?
the VA website says "...Children, under 18 years of age, are welcome in the Virgin Australia Lounge, but must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian..." and I don't think your situation of getting in on a pass, should lead to you being treated any differently.
While your son may be hitting the bottle in the lounge, it's unlikely to be anything from behind the bar, I'm sure they'll be cool.
I agree with Patricka340 and have found from experience this to be the case having taken my daughter on many flights even whilst under 2 this did not mean I had to use any lounge pass for her to enter the VA lounge. Now as a child passenger she also wouldnt require the use of a lounge pass to access the lounge with me.
