I have read that you can bump up your Qantas Frequent Flyer Status when you have a relationship with someone who is already at a high end level (for example lifetime gold). Is this true and how would i make it happen? Is there an easy way to get perks like free Qantas Club, Priority Boarding and check in?
I'm not sure what you've been reading but I don't think that is true for gold level at least.
If you are travelling with someone who is lifetime gold you will effectively get those perks as that individual can bring a guest/companion in to Qantas club lounges, you'll both get priority boarding and check in. But your personal FF status will not change.
Otherwise your partner will need to have earnt 2400 SC and they can choose to get gold membership for someone as an award for their loyalty. So the easiest way is to fly.

There are only a couple of options for doing this
1) A Platinum One can gift Platinum status to someone at the same address
2) Someone earning 2,400 Status Credits in one year has an option to gift Gold.
I am not aware of any other options
