Sim Card in the USA
I am about to move to NYC for work and am looking into the best pre-paid mobile plans to work with my Australian iPhone.
Does anyone have any recommendations? I realise Sprint and Verizon won't work as they run on CDMA networks, so would need something on a GSM network with a minimum of 1gb of data.
Thanks for any help

T-Mobile have some pretty good deals. Most with unlimited data (an allocated portion is 4G) Think the most expensive is $70 for unlimited talk, txt, and 4G data which is pretty good also considering its prepaid or a $30 plan for 100mins talk, unlimited txt and 5GB 4G data and unlimited data on the 2G network (not as I found out the hard way the last time I was in the US 3G)

Hi,
I've used pre-paid AT&T (micro sim) when I go to US for holidays, it is $1/day - But it is only 2G.
From what I know, you can only get 3G on post-paid plans/contract plans. If you are going for any length of time, then consider starting-up a new phone contract. Another option is to get a local to open a plan and share it with you (maybe your workies can help out)
If there are other options, I am keen to know too - as my next trip to USA, I'm not so keen on 2G speeds on my iPhone5...
Hope that helps a little.

For anyone who is still interested in this, i have found a really good option backed by Wallmart called Straight Talk. You can find it at straighttalksim.com - a plan is only $45/month unlimited talk, text and data and works on the AT&T network.
