No they only sell QF coded AA operated flights when booked with a flight to/from Oz.
If you know what date you're returning home (and haven't booked the flight yet) then you can book it with 4 domestic legs on QF codes and then the QF flight back home as a multi stop.
It may also be worth looking at Fiji Airways flights that are coded with a QF flight number. Currently HNL-NAN return is around $800 on a QF flight number.
Update - I've been playing around with the QF multi stop and webjet sites with different combinations of flights. I was able to get it working with JFK-SFO-LAX (QF coded AA opereated) and then three months later LAX-SYD (QF coded and operated)

It depends on a number of things including ticket type, type of codeshare agreement, location of codeshare flight etc
In general, with short haul codeshare flights in the US and Europe, you need a QF coded international flight elsewhere on the same ticket. (Trying to work out if that "same ticket" really means "same PNR", so that I could have a QF coded LAX-SFO-LAX on a different ticket within the same PNR as a larger RTW ticket)
In theory, there should be nothing wrong with having a QF coded LAX-JFK without an AU-LAX, if QF2 LHR-DXB is also on that ticket.

Himeno raised an interesting point and so I went looking to see if it was indeed possible to get a QF coded AA operated domestic flight without the USA-AU flight.
