Hi all - question on booking flights via Virgin for HA SYD-HNL.
Can anyone advise if they have been able to book an extra comfort seat on a VA ticket? Is it just a case of booking via VA web site, getting the HA PNR number and doing the extra comfort seats via the Hawaiian web sit? Or is there a fare class in VA that is the equivalent to Extra Comfort seat?
Probably the same as Delta on a VA ticket but I've not done it on Hawaiian: Buy the ticket then call Virgin and ask for the recode, the confirmation code Delta (Hawaiian in this case) uses in its system. Then go on the Delta (Hawaiian) website and find your flight and add/pay for an extra comfort seat.
Looking at booking a flight from SYD-HNL from mid December onwards this year. I can see virgin now lets you search for reward seats on their website now, which seems to have changed since a few guides which were written in 2017.
I can see availabilities on the AA website, does anyone know if i call virgin they would let me book from this or only what is available of the Virgin website?
