I'm travelling on QR042 to Doha in Business in January and when I booked in July, the seat map was the standard 777-300 layout. The aircraft has since been changed to a retrofitted QSuite map and I was automatically placed in 1K as a solo flyer.
I'm happy with the seat but wondering if anyone has travelled on the new fit out yet and if anyone has any recommendations for seat choices? It's probably worth noting that I'm not given a huge amount of choice whilst flying alone.
You should enjoy the "upgrade" to Qsuite 1K. I did 4J Doha-Paris on 16 Ocotber - very enjoyable experience. See my review-type comment re a 20 June post about Quites being introduced to the USA...
