I have a ff booking with EK, and EK flight number, MEL to SIN. I understand the Tand C on the QFF website is that I am ineligible for chauffeur drive. However according to the EK website I am, and have been able to reserve a limo in Oz and Singapore.
Anyone have any experience of this? will the limo turn up? if not whose fault is it, and will EK look after me?
You're an Emirates passenger booked on the Emirates flight number, so what Qantas says is irrelevant.
You're most certainly entitled to Chauffeur Drive, and I've taken this exact Emirates flight before, also in first class and which was booked with Qantas Points, and can confirm no issues with the pick-up in Melbourne or on arrival in Singapore (although you do have to go to the Emirates desk in Singapore after collecting your bags, rather than drivers waiting for you with signs).
Another thing: don't forget that your Emirates first class boarding pass allows you to use the Qantas First Lounge in Melbourne in addition to the standard Emirates lounge, and when I visited prior to the Emirates Singapore flight, it was pretty quiet and I had no issue securing a spa treatment (nor did my companion on the same flight).
When you book using qf points on ek metal your ticket is always ek numbered. So it is always chauffeur eligible to Asia. Only when you book on qantas metal to Asia as your final destination is the chauffeur ineligible
I recently flew EK to Singapore from Melbourne using points, booked my limo which turned up and delivered us to the airport, no problem. Enjoy! I should have specified I used Qantas points to book the flight.

On a recent trip to Europe on Qantas points but Emirates planes, Emirates offered chauffeur drive at every airport, even when I was only in transit. I only utilised the airport pick up in Munich, but all very efficient and no complaints.
Flew Emirates flights from Sydney to Bangkok to Dubai to Barcelona in May 2017 and back in July 2017 and used the chauffeur service as needed in Bangkok, Dubai and Barcelona and even got the free stay at Le Meridien in Dubai as I had an 18 hour layover in Dubai. Seems if you are on travelling on and EK flight number you are entitled to all they offer even if an award booking like mine was. trvvelling again next May and the chauffer options are showing available.
I've used Qantas points to fly on Emirates from Syd-DXB (Business Class) and DXB-Madrid (First), and Rome-DXB-SYD (Business) next April/June. Does this qualify me for a transfer at either end? Any tips, or any good or bad seats to book/avoid?
Go to MMB on Emirates website and that will let you book your transfers,if you’re entitled.
If you are travelling on your own and on an A380,my preference would be 23 A/K,if you are travelling as a couple(and you want to sit next to each other)then E/F is the better option.
