Last night on Youtube I watched a video of a fellow," Sam ", giving a report on the SQ B787-1000 delivery flight.
He and everyone they spoke to disliked / complained about the offset position of the foot well used when in the 180 degree recline and as a bed. They all said how terribly uncomfortable it was and how that feature put quite a damper on the seat which apart from that was very good. How can such an Airline not listen to previous bad feedback on this and still persist in using the design?
Maybe I'm missing something but it seems like a very poor decision indeed and will put me off choosing SQ that have this seat.

I wouldn’t take any notice of a review on You Tube. He said that “everyone” he had spoken to, gave a negative view. Enough said.

There's never enough said and why would you not take any notice of a review on you tube any more than a review on the internet etc? Simply a different media but the same outcome !

I'm excited to try it out in two months, but it is disappointing that SQ keeps producing seats that all have much-the-same flaw. I still love so much about SQ, but their business class product certainly isn't the industry-leader it once was.

Ye I agree, its not ideal,
you have a great big wide seat, with only a small portion usable in bed mode.
But its better than travelling in Y - so I honestly don't care too much.
