GAZZMAN. I have looked at what you say and see exactly what you mean. This is a similar problem to the one I had with Emirates. Possibly the reason you are having a problem is that with the merger of Emirates and Qantas, Qantas have deciced to use the program that Emirates use for their online booking engine. Email Qantas (I hope you get better results than I did with Emirates customer service I am sure you will ) and let us know what they say.

Hi Not At Emirates - thank you for the reply but its not the reason. This has not been an available option since long before the QF/EK thing. You can do this for flights originationg in Singapore but not BK. I have sent QF an email

In any event, booking reward lights from BKK is a PITA as Qantas requires you to present your credit card in person at their Bangkok office within days of booking.

MOA999 - whats a PITA? I am not booking reward flight. Yes QF has a dumb ass rule about presenting a credit card in person, there are ways around this.
