Thanks. The Boeing tour is on my to do list. Must have been great.
Would love to do the Boeing factory tour. Stuart, you mentioned the engines aren’t yet fitted? Is the plane painted yet? What stage of development is it?
Fuselage is all joined and standing on its landing gear. Tail is painted and rest is yet to be painted. I believe next step is internal fit out and fit engines. I did spot 2 Ge engines outside the door to the 787 line and these are possibly said engines but that’s speculation only.
It was a great tour and well worth a look. I met a photographer who regularly takes pics at Paine field and when it appears outside the assembly line it will most likely show up on her Instagram calla_darling
Wow. Only a week to compete paint job, mount engines and complete interior fitout! I’m ignorant wrt aircraft product lines but that sounds pretty quick to me!

er... roll out in early June, delivery in mid July. 5 weeks.

I was responding to the statement: “It's due to be rolled out of the assembly hanger tomorrow.” Which was 5 days from OP....
