We had booked a return Flight with Qantas to Denpasar in few months time but now realised that we needed to be in Singapore instead during that time. We travel on Australian Passports.
I noted that Jetstar has the last flight out of Denpasar to Singapore 2 hours after we landed from Sydney. Is that enough time for us to do the transit? We will be going with carry on only. We want to avoid an extra night in Denpasar if possible.
Had anyone done the same trip in the past and how did that go?
Can we do a transit by check in online for the Jetstar leg or would Qantas check through for us from Sydney given the 2 legs are not on the same ticket?
Worst case scenario is that we have to go out through Custom then check in again, would that do able within the 2 hours?
Should be doable. Assume you are flying on a Sat/Sun when 3K240 are running.
Biggest issue is if aircraft is late, insurance won't help and next JQ isn't until 2pm next day. Might be worth getting a cheap fare on the AirAsia 7am flight as a backup

Thanks moa999, we will be going on Sunday and looking at the 3K240 flight as the connection. I though of buying the flight on the 7am AirAsia flight as an insurance as well but then it pushes the overall cost of the extra flights to be close enough with the cancellation price of the QF flights.
With SQ flights SYD-SIN-SYD around $650 return in economy at that time, I think I will take mannej's advice and enjoy SQ economy for the trip. Overall it will save me at least a day and much much less stress.

Is it worth the stress?
Are you able to cancel your current booking and use it as a credit towards a direct SYD-SIN-SYD flight?

You should be able to transit with online boarding passes.
