QF to HNL. Hi guys, just wanted to get some info on business class seating on QF4 SYD to HNL in business class. What are the business class seats like? Are they the same as the QF domestic business seats? Does the aircraft has Q Streaming? I believe the still run a 767 on the route. Thanks in advance
Thanks but from what i read on the Nov article is only seems to refer to domestic routes and quotes the CEO of Qantas Domestic. Is this the same configuartion on international routes operating the 767 or just a domestic product?
Business on QF3/4 are using the Dreamtime seats. These are in the 1 - 2 - 2 configuration. These are recliner seats, with a 50 inch pitch and around 19 inches wide. These are not very comfortable. I want to go to Hawaii, however will not until QF puts the A330 on the route. iPad are used on these flights. They did have inflight entertainment on a loop, but not sure if they still have this with the introduction of iPads.
Refreshed birds are still an abysmal offering fro an international flight of over 9 hours! mind you, direct competition is Jetstar or Hawaiian, not too much better....
You may have iPads on the flight, although I had read that Qantas was struggling to find facilities to enable rapid charging of the iPads at some remote ports (inc HNL).
DGP - is that a TA notification.
KG - Its a 9hr mostly daytime flight - it does not need a flate bed. For sitting the Dreamtime seats are very comfortable.
SYD-HNL leaves at 7.45pm and arrives early morning 8.35am. I would want some shut eye after dinner so that I can make it through the day when I arrive and the dreamtime seats are not adequate for that in my honest opinion. Flying back is a different story, altough, on any flight over 6 hours they should offer decent (even angled lie flat) seating if you pay around 7000aud for a return ticket in business on a full service carrier!
