1. Virgin Australia have now added Z-class (Business) fares to eligible fares for earning points and SCs.
2. Took me a while to find this because it doesn't seem to be on their English website, but here is a list of lounges which Hong Kong Airlines uses. It's more or less similar to the Hainan Airlines lounges. Enjoy!
China:
Hangzhou - EasyGo VIP International Lounge
Changchun - International First Class Lounge
Chongqing - International First and Business Class Lounge
Chengdu - First Class Lounge
Fuzhou - International First Class Lounge
Haikou - First Lounge (Hainan Airlines)
Nanchang - International First Class Lounge
Guiyang - First Class Lounge
Nanjing - First Class V7 Lounge
Nanning - First Class Lounge
Beijing - BGS Premier Lounge or Hainan Airlines HNA Lounge
Shanghai Pudong - No. 77 China Eastern Plaza Premium Lounge
Shanghai Hongqiao - V01 VIP Lounge
Sanya - First Class Lounge (International)
Tianjin - International First Class Lounge
International:
Auckland - Strata Lounge
Bangkok - Miracle Lounges (All 8 available)
Bali - Premier Lounge
Hanoi - Noi Bai International Airport Business Lounge
Those are the lounges that HK Airlines uses for business class passengers, although Velocity Gold/Platinum gets no access to them unless flying business class.
Wow what a great deal that one is, the same privileges as all other business class passengers. Not sure if Trump was involved in negotiating that one. Meanwhile HNA members get access to all Virgin lounges while in Australia. Make Virgin great again!
