So Qantas have now cut radio and music from their entertainment offering on seqtback and apparently wifi at least on domestic. A move to appease those incapable of independent thought. Yet more cost cutting. Pretty ordinary.
That’s a shame I used to enjoy popping my headphones into the armrest and drift off listening to whatever came on, guess I will have to put some tunes on my phone.
I couldn’t find it on my flights either earlier this month. I noticed the Radio Q sections have been removed from the website as well. I flew a 737 from MEL to BNE and all they had was the podcast audio playing through the radio.

I flew on Friday and yesterday on the dreamliner (MEL-BNE leg and back) and no audio, just podcasts. Pretty disappointing.

Is this change because performance rights may have become more expensive and QF views removal as an easy, unnoticed way to cut costs?
