Qantas Frequent Flyer software error

Have been downgraded from Platinum to Gold a month before Platinum was to expiry.

Called Qantas.
Have been advised that it is a software error.
Has anyone else had this issue?

Just been advised by Qantas it is a system error and it will take 3-5 working day to be sorted out.
