Normally they will take from my experience 2-5 days, but once it did take 2 weeks. However, they may take up to six weeks to credit to your account. If they take longer than six weeks you will need to call them and get them manually credited to your account.
I flew QF2 2 weeks ago as a DSC trip. Normal points and SCs were credited by the time I arrived at SIN, and the DSCs were credited the day after arriving back in SYD. Normally in the past it's taken 4 days for the DSCs.
I am up to 12 days since travel and no double status, yet my 50% bonus from a previous offer for a flight 4 days ago came through the day after travel, which is a bit weird.
5 days for the recent promotion and still waiting 5 weeks from the previous double points and SC promotion. Maybe because Qantas is getting so many calls asking for follow up on double SCs etc they are moving faster on awarding them?
I registered for double status points in the February promotion, and booked 3 trips. However I got caught with booking within the first 8-9 hours of the promotion when the system for some reason doesn't recognise it. After the first trip in April and no double status credits after 6 weeks, I sent an email query through to Qantas. The reply said there was no record of a double status credit promotion during February nor any other reference on my account!! I had to send them a copy of the registration confirmation email, which I thankfully found in my deleted folder. I gave the booking reference numbers for the other trips I booked at the same time, with the instruction that I didn't want to have to follow up again. Just completed the second trip, and the extra credits were in my account after 1-2 days.

Qantas seem to trip over the UTC timezone issue sometimes with these promotions. I generally hold off registering for these promotions until after 10 or 11 am on the first day.
I registered and booked, but didn't get a confirmation email. I haven't flown yet, but got nervous cause of this thread. I called up QFF and they confirmed that my flights were eligible. They said that because the offer was so popular, some people didn't receive a confirmation email.

Same happened to me. Seems they don't even know when they have their own promotions. On a different note. Rang them yesterday about RTW Oneworld airfare. Enquired if Air Berlin can be booked as it still appears in their Oneworld list of airlines. They answer yes you can still book Air Berlin. My understanding is Air Berlin went bankrupt back in Jan 18 and no longer fly. Seems odd that QFF exec. line don't know that ........................
