Hi,

Planning to book the following flights:
SYD-BKK (QFxx)
BKK-CPH (EKxx)
CPH-SYD (EKxx)

Just wondering If I could earn QFF for the first leg (SYD-BKK) and then switch to use my Skywards member to earn EK's points for the 2nd and 3rd legs of the trip?

I am a member of both FF programme. So, thinking it might be better to earn EK miles/points when flying EKxxx.

TIA.

Probably best to claim the points after flying.

It is in theory possible but possibly convoluted. I would recommend just going with either qantas or skywards. Unless you frequently fly emirates, you should stick with qff even though you won't earn status credits (unless on codeshare). You will earn more miles that way. However, if chasing status with Skywards, credit to skywards. I would assume that qff is more useful to you. However, if you do want to mix and match frequent flyer programs, best to do it at the lounge with the lounge attendant after your first leg with QF or at check-in of the second leg (even though you'd been checked in SYD). Otherwise, best to claim the points with QF/Skywards as sid said.

Thanks both. I think it might be a little convoluted. So, might just stick with one I reckon.
