I’ve noticed Qantas have been ‘tweaking’ the seat selection part that connects to the Qantas mobile app.


I’m getting “GENERIC ERROR” messages when trying to choose and save seats.

Anyone else having the same issue?

Yes I had that a couple of weeks ago but just for one particular booking. Had to ring to make my seat selections. Call centre staff couldn’t explain the problem.

Just had this pop up on the lap top when trying to choose my seats, but was able to choose seats on my mobile with no problem.

The app is terrible for making bookings (wasn’t previously), so I’ve started using the website.
