Macquire Credit card given Hilton Status - Gold or Diamond

Hi fellow BT gurus,

Newbie here, just wanted to check with the Macquire Hilton Credit Card, do we get gold or platinum status with Hilton? On the website it says gold, i got conflicting reports from friends say that they got diamond? Thanks heaps for the help

By default, just by greeting the card, you will automatically receive Hilton gold status no strings attached. But if you spend, I believe 50k in a year, they will upgrade you to diamond status for the next year I think.

I received diamond without spending the desired amount. Not complaining.
