Interesting that Delta have reduced their order for A350’s and deferred 10 aircraft out to 2026, and not only replaced with A330neo but increased the number of aircraft, does this imply that the A350 is not really delivering what Delta thought it would ??
No. I think its just that the demand is not there right now or that Delta thinks they can keep certain aircrafts for longer. They are famous for keeping their 767 nice and updated.
I'm amazed when I visit the USA and see so many Boeing 767s still flying and often updated with new business class seats. I would't read too much into Delta revising its A350 order anyway.

The A350 is not a A330 replacement but the A330neo is. That’s is why...horses for courses. They may want to replace the medium range aircraft first.
