I thought the QF15/16 is supposed to be daily on a 789 - see on Flightradar24 that today it is a 747 (OJS). Anyone has any info on that? Is this a one off or planned over the holidays due to increased capacity (in addition to QF55/56)?
VH-OJS returned to BNE as QF56 that day. It seems that the 747 has been used to run QF15/16 as a substitute for the Dreamliner at least once in the last few weeks. Hope it’s an exception / 787 or 747 maintenance / last minute swap - kind of thing and will not be reoccurring. Even though I love the iconic 747 the aged J seat is a big minus compared to the modern 787.
