If concerned about navigating terminals at Dubai, you can use Marhaba which offers a meet-and-greet service for terminal transfers. They will meet you at your BA arrival gate and guide you through to the departure gate of your Emirates flight. There will be a fee for this service of course.

You will arrive in terminal so look for transfer to terminal 3. There is a shuttle bus that takes around half an hour. You can google to confirm this.
