I am travelling to Europe next year via Singapore and Dubai. I depart Melbourne in Qantas business class then, after 3 hours transit, Singapore to Dubai is Emirates first. All travel was booked via Qantas and is on the same booking. My question is, am I eligible to use the Qantas First Lounge in Melbourne?

No. Onward flight must be F or if you are QF Platinum and above.

I'd give it a go as you never know... But next onward flight isn't First Class and oneworld access rules wouldn't apply as you're flying EK.

Worth a try if it is a QF flight number which you seem to say it is.

But if he was flying EK First using the lounge wouldn't be an issue, Oneworld wouldn't change that
