LAX is great now days. You arrive at TBT @ LAX, clear customs (around 20 minutes) and you're out. You drop your bag off to the transfer people as you're exiting the terminal then make your way to delta's terminal. I always enjoy the walk after the long flight. Then go through Sky Priority queue with DL, again not as bad as it used to be. The transfer on the way back is better. Check your bag through in at SFO and the transfer from DLs terminals to TBT is a shuttle from the terminal into TBT so you don't need to clear security again. Plus the shuttle is on the flight line so that's cool.
