Hi all, I have flown some sectors that I purchased during the Qantas Double Status Credits promotion earlier this year. Some flights were two weeks ago. However the double status credits have not appeared? Does it usually take this long?
I think the consensus is that it takes around two to three days normally - but it can take weeks as well. If the status credits don't appear after six weeks, you can call QANTAS. As it happens, I have had to do this twice because my status credits didn't appear. In both cases, my registration for the double status credit promotion had not been 'logged'. I sent them the confirmation email showing that I had indeed registered for the promotion and everything was solved (so make sure you keep that email). I have no idea why my registration for the promotion was not logged - but in both cases I did register as soon as the offer was made (i.e early the first morning). I have heard some chat there may be a problem with the QANTAS system registering the correct local time relative to GMT - but not sure if that is correct.
In the same booking 2 flights the double status posted within 3 days for the third flight also within same PNR it’s now been 10 days. Flights were taken 3DEC and 14DEC and double SC posted but flight taken on 17DEC nothing.
Usually three days. If you have issues just keep the registration email to sort things out. If you are Platinum or above it takes no time on the phone to sort out. If you are Bronze it may be quicker to try using the Facebook Qantas page and message them with the details.
All the above are first world concerns. What about non accruable flights on One World partners...oh dear , AA. Wish my travel agent or others , eg Qantas had warned me about which economy booking classifications do NOT give either points or status credits for internal US flights.
Thank you all for your replies. I phoned Qantas Frequent Flyer and after examining my bookings, they credited me the double status points within half hour of the call. I asked what the problem was as this has not happened previously. Apparently it has to do with an upgrade to their systems that occurred about two weeks ago. Also, if you get a points upgrade on one of these flights, the system puts your booking out of the double status promotion. I have a flight coming up next weekend which was made under the double status points promotion so I am interested to see if there are issues.

Seems like the typical IT bugs when making system updates.
I’ve had this happen to me for a flight in November last year. I called them up this week and they’ve given me a timeframe of 3-5 days. I’ll hit Silver when this happens, but does anyone know if they retrospectively apply the status, and the flow on bonus points on subsequent flights?

I took two flights back in November and still haven't had the status credits appear.
