I am flying SYD-SIN-BKK on a First fare but the SIN - BKK sector is in business as Singapore does not fly first on this leg. Does anyone have any experience as to whether I will be able to access the First lounge or Private Room in Singapore? Thanks in advance.

AFAIK, if connecting, you will have access to the private room on arrival.

Yes, arriving in SQ first/Suites will entitle you to arrivals access to TPR.

Hi MNC.

Just be aware the TPR is in Terminal 3 and flights to BKK generally leave from Terminal 2, so you will need to allow time to catch the bus or sky train. SQ in T2 also has a First lounge that you can use. The food in T2 is more local focused than that of TPR, The TPR compared to the Qantas lounges in Australia is a tad old and old school.

Enjoy, Taylor

Qantas....easy....

TPR did have a Krug promo for a while last year but that's well gone.

Qantas change menus every season, TPR rarely and the TPR menu seems tied to the Book The Cook options and are rather limited.

thanks to all the responses on this one. I returned this morning and thought I'd update everyone.

I was not offered an invite to the Private Room in Singapore on the outbound sector SYD-SIN-BKK but was offered First class Krisflyer lounge. As Taylor pointed out, the terminal change over meant there was only 30-45min lounge time anyway, so i didnt really feel I'd missed out on much.

Thanks for everyone's comments!
