I have booked hotels via Velocity and Hotelclub. However no matter what I do to retroclaim the promised points, it is not happening. I have 5 bookings from which the points still aren't credited to my Velocity account. Called Velocity helpdesk (phonenumber on the voucher of the hotelbooking): on hold for a long time, ended up being transferred to another helpdesk - got disconnect while the number was incorrect. This happened 3 times. I lost it. Finally they connected me with Hotelclub, however they weren't able to help me either. Back to Velocity (from pillar to post). Been at the phone for more than 60 minutes, customer representative from Velocity wanted to call Hotelclub again. Another 10 minutes on hold and nothing happened. Completely frustrated I disconnected the call. How are your experiences with these bookings? Only one booking with Hotelclub got credited to my account within 2-3 weeks of my stay in the hotel.
Transfers of points are unbelievably slow from HotelClub, but they've always shown up after a while.
Are you a Silver, Gold, or Platinum member? It may be worth sending through your booking confirmations, and records of any correspondence to e.g. [email protected] (replace the 'gold' with your status level). This is the best way I've found to get points issues sorted out by Velocity.
