I’m a Platinum Velocity member who flew LAX - BNE Business Class last Saturday. I wanted to have a meeting at the LAX Virgin Lounge (Emirates) with a guest flying Biz Air NZ who was in the terminal. My guest was denied entry to the Emirates lounge as he was not flying Virgin. Looking at the Velocity website I can’t see this policy detailed. Rang Velocity and was told entry was at the lounge staff’s “discretion†. Has anybody else had this issue or can they direct me to the policy? thx
"As a Velocity Platinum and Gold member you and your eligible
accompanying guests will need to book a Virgin Australia or one of the
above listed partner airline’s flight number to be eligible for lounge
entry."

My coach was denied entry as they were a non-rev Virgin passanger.
