Hi, I've been assigned seat 12A on an upcoming SQ flight MEL to SIN. It's the middle row in the business class mini cabin at the front on a refurbed 4 class aircraft. While I assume this would be a fairly quiet seat, 15K is also available and that's the front row of the main business class cabin. I've heard this may have even more legroom. It's a daytime flight so I don't think I'll be bothered by any noise from the galley. But the proximity to the bathroom may be any issue. Anyone flown this type recently and could offer advice? I know, first world problem...
I have sat in the same seat, yes it is really quiet. Not much noise from the galley or WC, didnt really have much foot traffic around me other than the cabin crew during service. I was on the late arvo flight from MEL if that makes any difference
12a is a great seat on the SQ 77W. I use it all the time. 11a has much better space for feet but these days it’s blocked out until shortly before departure.
Absolutely fine. The footwell in 15K is actually marginally shorter, just wider. The bathrooms are also closer to 15 than 12 anyway, as the doors are in-between.
I have exactly the same choice for a flight at the end of the month. I currently have 12K but see 15K is now available. Can anyone confirm if 15K has the bench style foot rest, rather than the foot cubby?
For me any bulkhead seat with the full width bench ottoman is always better than the regular seat - day or night. I always used to go for 11A until they blocked the bulkhead seats for early selection (unless PPS elite member). I currently have 4 flights booked all in 12A but just checked now and the bassinet row has just opened up on all 4 flights. I'm wondering whether to take the risk of being stuck next to a screaming baby in order to get the more space.

Thanks all. Sounds like I'll stick with row 12.
