I've just racked up 420 000 QF points and think I'll make it to 450 000 in coming months. I'm QF gold but will be Plat by the end of Sept. Can anyone advise as to a good way to maximise these points for 2pax?
Ideally we'd like to go in business. Usually I blow my points on single sector upgrades (eg SYD-SIN / SYD-LAX but am interested to know whether this could get us somewhere meaningful before registering for an upgrade on my next medium haul sector.) Any tips appreciated! Will this get us close to Europe or a RTW on OneWorld? Ideally we'd like to go in business.
If you buy cheaper tickets to say the UK and seek upgrades then that will chew up that number of points. The issue is the change fees are not worth it if the upgrade for two doesn’t come off. Better to buy a flexible tickets for more sectors/trips.
Don’t bother wasting your points on upgrades. As mentioned, a 280k round the world in business is the best value points can buy. I would suggest keep saving, a sign on bonus or two for credit cards will get you there in no time.

Round the World trips are the best value. It's 280,000 per person in business so you've still got a ways to go but that is definitely the best value.
