Has anyone sampled both of the First Lounges at Abu Dhabi airport?

Has anyone sampled both of the First Lounges at Abu Dhabi airport? Is there any difference between them? Know if one tends to be busier than the other? Opinion on Terminal 1 vs Terminal 3? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Only been in the one in T3 - which I have to say was excellent. Quiet, superb service, excellent spa facilities and very good food. There was only two of us in there for well over an hour as we were connecting MEL-LHR but on the afternoon LHR service as we had one reward ticket.

Not sure how quiet it will be now top level FF's are allowed in as previously they were very strict in only allowing ticketed First Class passengers in, no guests.

I was in the T3 F-lounge last week coming back from LHR and it was v.nice. Lot less crowded than the Biz lounge. They made me perfect poached eggs for breakfast which was nice, too early in the morning for Champers unfortunately!

They have their own spa and shower facilities which are less crowded and bigger than the Biz lounge next door.

On the way out I did the SYD-AUH leg in First and AUH-LHR in Biz and tried to get in to the F-lounge, no chance! The lounge dragons just about chased me out the door!

 Thanks clive! Can I ask are you a Gold Elite/Platinum FF? and was this before or after the changes to the Gold Elite/Platinum perks?

I am Etihad Gold but was on an F-ticket this time. I always book return flights from LHR-SYD-LHR becasue its that much cheaper and I go to UK 2 or 3 times a year. I got an F-ticket LHR-SYD for the same price as a J-ticket!! and the return in J for GBP1450.

We get royally stitched up on air fares over here!

Both the T1 and T3 F Lounge's are excellent so I am sure you will enjoy ...

The T1 F-Lounge is  a little more busy now and not quite as new as T 3 F-Lounge.....

If you are a Gold Elite member you can now use the F lounge regardless of class you fly...

and also check in  at the F counter...
