BA and CX offer seats earlier than QF's 353 days. Is it possible to book these seats before the 353 days using QF points ?

No. Also, are you QF Gold/Platinum? 353 days in advance for Gold/Platinum, and down to 297 days for lower statuses.

Unfortunately I am lifetime silver (just short of lifetime gold). Logging on to QFF, and searching through some extreme options such as Dallas to Sydney it offers me a route via London with seats on BA one day in advance of the direct LHR to SYD flight available via QFF. The seats disappear when QF opens the same date. It could be that BA FF are taking them. QF doesnt offer business class seats to silver level so I am searching other OneWorld carriers.
