Recently I flew out of Denpasar (Bali) and was pleasantly surprised with the new (trial) arrangement of Qantas using the Novotel lounge for BC and G/P FF. The normal lounge would have been the Premier Lounge, which is notoriously overcrowded by many other airlines' FF. There is apparently a restriction of max. 30 travelers (we were only 10 of us). Food selection was very good, service extremely courteous. Drinks are limited, only local Heineken and soft drinks (Muslim country). It is a great way to have some decent (Asian) food and a lovely shower before embarking on a 5.5Hrs night flight in CC (Cattle Class) and just sleep (Qantas food in E is almost MacDonald quality anyway).
