I am flying into Houston with Air New Zealand business class. When I land I have about 6 hours before a newly ticketed flight with United in economy. I have no status with United only Oneworld.
Anyone know of my options for a freshen up shower? Would be happy to pay for lounge access if that's available in Houston?
From what I can tell without having status with United your options are limited. You can purchase a one day pass to the United club for $59 through the United app or at club locations which is fairly steep but if you are desperate that may be your only option.
Now I don't know how terminal transfers work at IAD, but there is a KLM and Air France Lounge in Terminal D after passport/security check. I assume one of them should have shower facilties?
You can buy a single access pass through DragonPass for £20 / $36 AU using promo code TELEDP16 at checkout.
You just download the pass and show them at the door.

The problem is that not being on AA makes it tricky. You may have to pay; and then google is your friend to see what is there.

I don't think there is a shower in the main United Club iTerminal E anymore after the Polaris Lounge was opened.
