Help please, does anyone know if the status credits you get for flying on a BA code share (BA flight number) flight operated by Qatar airways metal are better than a QR flight number? Is it correct that generally you get more QF SCs on a BA flight than a QR flight and therefore better to choose the BA code share for DOH to LHR?
For Qatar airways flights from Europe, the earn rate on QF status credits is the same regardless of if your ticket is under the BA or QR flight number. Use the Qantas points calculator to confirm for your specific flight (https://www.qantas.com/fflyer/do/dyns/initialPointsEarned)
Note that the business class earn rate from Europe to Doha is usually 60 SC (except Stockholm for some reason; 30 SC)
