How do you get points/status credits transfered from Cathay Pacific MarcoPolo, to Qantas FF?

How do you get points/status credits transfered from Cathay Pacific MarcoPolo, to Qantas FF? The booking was with my QFF and when i check Activity Statement there was nothing. I claimed via website - it now states = CLAIMED ON ANOTHER FF SCHEME

You cannot transfer between FF accounts.  Did you enter the CX account number in, that's the only way they could be credited there?

It happened to me before as well as I dislike keying in all my information everytime I book with Cathay so I always login to my CX account to expedite the booking.

By default, your Marco Polo club number is entered so if you don't delete it and change it to your QFF number, it will stay as your MPC number. You can try calling the QFF service desk and explain that you do not want the points credited to the MPC account and want it to be reversed back to the QFF account. I am not too sure if that can be done but it is worth a try if you really want the QFF points.

I had a similar situation with AA few years back. I just phoned qf and they swapped them for me. Good luck

Check your boarding pass in the future and see what FF number is recorded on it. Nip the problem at the bud and get it changed at check-in or the lounge!
