I've got some travel in the US planned next year. Does anyone know what a 'main cabin' AA flight is equivalent to in Qantas terms? Flexible economy? Or Discount economy?
I'm mostly flying between Chicago and LAX. Trying to figure if worth booking on AA for the SC, or another better airline. Will depend on how much SC I earn.
'Main cabin' just means economy. You'd need to check the actual fare class you're booking (this is a single letter like H, B, O etc) and compare that to the earning tables on the Qantas website for American Airlines, to see which fare group it matches to, and by extension, how many points and status credits you'll earn.
