I'm after some advice regarding a transit in FRA. I'm on a single ticket, flying Paris CDG to Linz LNZ in Austria, via FRA, on Lufthansa. Originally my transit in FRA was 1 hour and 40 minutes, but the flight to Linz has just been rescheduled to depart earlier, leaving a transit of only 55 minutes in Frankfurt airport.
It's on the one booking so luggage will be booked through all the way, and hopefully the airline will look out for me ... but is 55 mins still too short? Should I be looking to catch an earlier flight from Paris?

Star Alliance has a very cool 'Connection Centre' in Frankfurt, making it one of the best places for a quick transit. If time is tight, they'll send a buggy to your gate, and work with baggage staff to get your luggage from one flight to the next. In short, as long as Lufthansa is happy with the connection, you shouldn't worry.
Here's a look at how it all works: Behind the scenes at Star Alliance's Frankfurt Connection Centre

As your flights are on the same itinerary and they are all Lufthansa, it works extremely well.
However, anyone changing airlines and/or on separate tickets: give yourself at least 3 hours. It takes ages to change carriers that have no easy interline agreement.

We have 45 mins transfer on LH in Munich. LH have reassured me that MTT is 30 mins and LH can utilise “ramp” direct (cross tarmac transfer) in the event of a delay of the incoming flight!!!
Think I will take carry on only.....
