Hi all,
The Qantas website is not letting me search for flights between Dubai and London unless its a points booking (i.e. no revenue searches) - is this a glitch in the website or a result of the restructuring of the Qantas-Emirates tie up? I appreciate Qantas no longer fly the route but assumed it would be available to book via an Emirates codeshare.
Thanks

You should have no problem booking QF flight numbers on EK metal between Dubai and London: below is an Amadeus screenshot for those flights for eg 30 January:

Try a travel agency rather that the QF website which might be geared toward QF metal flights. I hope this helps.

Not all possible flight sectors appear on the QF website. For some, you need to call. Just make sure you tell the QF agent that the system does not allow you to book that sector online, to avoid the assistance fee (which does not apply if what you want to do can't be done online).

It does seem strange that Qantas seem no longer willing to sell tickets with a QF code on flights between London and Dubai without an onward connection as presumably they could be getting a cut from the fare without any of the costs or risks. They previously did seem willing to sell these for about a year after they axed their own metal flights.
I get though for connections that they obviously want to route the traffic on their own flights via Singapore.
