Travelling from Cairns today, Sunday 2nd Feb on VA, went to use the lounge along with some colleagues and a group of other passengers to find it closed at 7:45am.
Check-In staff didn't know why it was closed, no signs or anything to indicate otherwise.
The Virgin Australia Cairns lounge is open, according to the VA website, “from 60 minutes prior” to the first VA flight, which I think today was at 9am (VA776 to Brisbane).
