What the best was to ensure I score the new DJ business class seats when booking Premium fares? 787-800 vs. 787-700? Any tips?

By flying between Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane to Perth return as all these flights are operated by a Boeing Sky interior or re-fitted aircraft. A330's do 3 of the 5 SYD-PER-SYD runs. On January 18th All routes will have business class equipped, bookoings for then are already on sale. Only a few routes won't have this business class on sale. When booking your flight if you have flexi or premium, you can do seat selection and it shows if its a re-fitted, BSI or old configuration. *Subject To Change*

Cheers! So basically the only true way to tell that you've lucked upon a refitted aircraft is when you select your seat 14 days out. Thanks!

Would love to see VA flying a fleet of 787s around domestically (think you mean 737 here...). The only way to be sure is to wait to fly till next January when all aircraft will be fitted with the new seats.

If you mean business seat/premium Econ fare, just about any domestic flight on a 737-800 will have the new seats by now, then the international Australian based 737s, then the 737-700s.

Actually only 1/4th of the fleet has been converted, and only 16 out of around 40 737-800's have been re-converted, no 737-800's, or e-jet 190's done yet either.
