Sorry all,I was too keen with he post button. I've just booked my next virgin Australia flight after the success of my last one. What is the business class offering between Perth and Adlaide? Is it like their east coast to Perth flights or a simplified version? I'm very excited for this flight, can't wait to hear of any info.
I don't want to dampen your excitement but unfortunately, the A330s are not used on the PER-ADL route. It is usually the E190s and occasionally the B737. The A330 experience is quite different compared to the J class on the other 2 airlines. Meals are 'simpler', seats are not not lie-flat, smaller range of drinks available and less IFE. I don't mind it but the A330 experience is alot better.
Virgin's coast-to-coast Business offering is only between Melbourne, Sydney and soon to be Brisbane. Adelaide to Perth will bring the standard 737 leather recliners et cetera. Happy flying.
Thanks Guys. I choose the E190 flight, as want to try out the single seat offering of the new layout. I thought the food might be different but was hoping otherwise? So does simpler mean one tray with everything on it, or is it a bit more elaborate? Thanks so much for your answers. I should just wait for my flight, but I'm impatient and want to know now.
It's a nice flight - if the J cabin isn't full go for a window seat on the right, so you have somewhere to put your things on the spare seat while you eat. There's a huge discussion with photos in the Virgin section of AFF if you're curious about the food.

Hi QantasFA, the food is still pretty good, just more suitable for the shorter flight. I personally find that it is more than enough.
The single seat on the E190 is great, lots of room, again what you need for a flight of that length.
